My love of jewelry began as a small child. When I was a little girl, I would visit my grandmother and she would allow me to try on all of her sparkling crystal jewelry. It made me feel beautiful then, and it still does! Bijoux Creations is a home-based jewelry design business that was created out of a love for anything that sparkles. I began creating in 2001. It is in small quaint towns like my own - Charlton, New York, that I find many of the treasures that ultimately become the one-of-a-kind designs that you will see on this website.

I began the creative process by antiquing all over the United States for high quality vintage jewelry pieces. During these treasure hunts I find favored jewelry that has been handed down from someone else's grandmother that has a broken clasp or is missing a bead or crystal. I take them home, carefully take them apart and gently clean them in preparation to be redesigned. Decorative and opulent, vintage crystals and findings are treasures from the past that are brought back to life in my contemporary jewelry pieces.

In addition to using vintage crystals, glass beads and gemstones, I also accent my designs with Swarovski Austrian crystals, fresh water pearls and the highest quality silver and gold findings to complete my original designs. Every piece of jewelry is strung on Beadalon® or pearlsilk thread to ensure long lasting quality. Each day it is a joy to resurrect vintage jewelry by creating new styles from old treasures.
